It does this by conducting the Neophyte through the various archetypes of their consciousness through symbol and story. The Hero''s Journey, popularized by Joseph Campbell''s Hero with a Thousand Faces is a psychological system that describes cycles of all world mythology and storytelling and addresses the processes by which individuals grow and evolve. Does The Hero''s Journey mirror the techniques and traditions of Freemasonry in explaining human evolution?
