The Masonic Galleries exist to display the beautiful artwork and objects that have been created by centuries of creative thought and the practice of Masonic principles. Freemasonry inculcates in its members a love of beauty, symmetry and proportion and encourages them to find the expressions of these universal constants wherever possible. The museums and galleries of the world are filled to the brim with examples of art inspired by the sublime concepts and teachings that are expressed and venerated by Freemasonry. As inspiring as these great institutions are their beauty is limited by their geographical constraints. Universal Co-Masonry wishes to preserve this beauty for the next generations and make it available to a wider audience than it has previously been exposed to by creating an online gallery that is accessible at all times and to all people. These works of art have inspired many Masons throughout history and are now available to inspire future inquiring minds. Feel free to use these works in any educational capacity.
