Krishna Stepping On The Serpent of Evil

Freemasonry And The Ancient Gods

Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Vishnu, stepping on the Serpent of Evil. Duga or Kali the Destroyer is also depicted doing the same to the demon Mahishaswa. This demon was the arch-enemy of the gods and had driven them even out of heaven, and they were only saved by Durga. One Hindu explanation is that Mahishaswa typifies ignorance.
