The first god anthropomorphically depicted, it is the primitive human form of Horus I., Bes-Horus being the earliest type of the pygmy Ptah. The human type was not given to any before Ptah, so that the above shows that the ancient Egyptians left an indelible proof in their mythology of their descent from the first human, which was the Pygmy.
