Per Veritatem Vis - Strength Through Truth

The Obediences listed on this page are those in amity with, or recognized by, the Supreme Council of Universal Co-Masonry. While the Order has amity with other Co-Masonic obediences, it also recognizes most Malecraft organizations as regular Masons and allows visitation from their members. ‘Recognition,’ in this very specific masonic sense of the word, means that Universal Co-Masonry considers them to be regular in their practice of Freemasonry, though they may not recepricate. Below are some definations that may be useful for the reader.

Amity:
A state (usually formalized in a treaty) of friendship and mutual recognition between Masonic obediences that allows visitation between orders.

Recognition:
When One Masonic obedience recognizes another, it acknowledges its Masonic regularity, authority, and territorial integrity.

Clandestine:
A clandestine lodge is one that pretends to be Masonic but is without a warrant, dispensation, or charter from a regular/recognized Grand Lodge, SUpreme COuncil,. or other supreme body.
