A Maltese Cross From The Mexican Codices

Freemasonry And The Ancient Gods

The veneration of the Holy Tree. Quetzalcoatl at the center. Note: (a) all trees form tau crosses; (b) these tau crosses blossom into Latin crosses of suffering bearing the Mexican equivalent of roses. The bird on the top represents the soul; (c) each tree is a thorn tree, but (d) throws the thorns as steps upon (e) the next one, shows the thorns pointing downwards, while (f) the next shows the thorns indicate, by the position of their hands, the same idea.
